apple clicker by sylastyu is a small Scratch game about clicking a red apple and spending apples on stronger clicks or automatic production. Your main choice is whether to improve each press or buy producers that grow your balance while the game runs.
How to Play
Start with the green flag, then click the large apple in the center. The apple counter shows your spendable balance, so purchasing an upgrade reduces it.
Open the cart in the upper-right corner to visit the shop. Click an upgrade to purchase it, then use the shop’s exit button to return to the main screen. Use separate clicks on the apple: holding it down did not produce a stream of clicks.
The current public build starts with 1,466 apples and zero automatic income, giving you enough to try several purchases immediately. The shop labels do not display their prices.
Upgrade Costs and Effects
These are the verified costs and effects of the first purchase of each item:
| Shop item | Cost | First-purchase effect |
|---|---|---|
| cursor | 15 apples | Adds 1 apple per click |
| tree clicker | 50 apples | Produces 1 apple per second |
| leef clicker | 100 apples | Produces 5 apples per second |
| zombie clicker | 500 apples | Produces 50 apples per second |
“Leef” follows the spelling used in the shop. Buying one of each automatic producer resulted in approximately 56 apples per second. Cursor upgrades also had a repeatable effect: a second purchase still cost 15 apples and raised manual earnings from two apples per click to three.
Repeated automatic purchases need more caution. In this version, buying a second zombie clicker raised the displayed rate from 56 to 106, but the balance continued growing at roughly 56 apples per second. Check actual balance growth before buying duplicates; the rate counter can overstate their benefit.
A practical starting approach is to try the different automatic producers before repeating one. If you prefer active clicking, cursor purchases provide a clearly visible increase in earnings per press.
Rebirth, Restarting, and Progress
The rebirth button clears your apple balance, but active automatic production continued immediately afterward. No extra multiplier or prestige reward was observed, so avoid treating rebirth as a proven way to increase future earnings.
The green flag behaves differently: restarting removed purchased click strength and automatic production while keeping the current apple balance.
Reloading the page restored the project’s preset balance instead of retaining this session’s progress. Plan around a single session rather than relying on a refresh to preserve your purchases.
What to Expect
The game centers on a short loop of clicking, purchasing, and watching your balance grow. Its small shop is quick to explore, although hidden prices and the automatic-rate mismatch make purchase feedback less reliable.
