Monsters, Eaters and Gods

Released: May 18, 2026

Battle through 12 tiers of furious creatures in Monsters, Eaters and Gods. Harvest Ghost currency, recruit a squad of autonomous killers, and climb to divine slaughter.

Categories

Swing your staff and harvest souls in a climb toward divine slaughter.

In Monsters, Eaters and Gods, you play as a mage architecting a massive monster-hunting operation. The goal is to fight through twelve tiers of increasingly furious creatures until you finally face their god.

Combat relies on a timed-swing loop where manual hits generate Ghost, the universal currency. While you can use Auto Hit to maintain progress, maximizing your damage requires chaining crits and Mega Crits.

Progression is a battle against armor and speed. Monsters use armor to eat your damage, and specific "carriers" will flee the field with your prestige loot if you don't kill them quickly.

Monsters, Eaters and Gods Gameplay

Early Game Plan

Focus on the timed-swing loop to accumulate Ghost. Spend this currency on basic power: hit speed, crit chance, and armor-piercing rating. As you clear initial tiers, spend the monster-specific Souls on upgrade cards to unlock the Wand Shop and the Foreman for early automation.

Mid/Late Game Plan

Shift your focus to the Eater Core to recruit a squad of autonomous killers. Deploy Dragon Piercers to shred armor and War Drummers to buff the team. Once progress stalls, trigger "Drink with the Gods" to trade your run for Beer, providing permanent perks like extra Eater slots and Godstaff Power. In the late game, execute "Eat with the Gods" to gain Spaghetti for meta-upgrades that bypass previous prestige limits.

Game Controls

  • Manual Swing: Timed clicks to deal heavy damage and earn Ghost.
  • Auto Hit: Toggleable automated attacking for passive farming.
  • Foreman Contract: Set per-group auto-buy timers for specific upgrade groups.
  • Eater Tuning: Set priority orders and field-caps for your recruited squad.

Common Mistakes New Players Make

  • Ignoring Carriers: Letting Beer or Spaghetti carriers escape costs you prestige currency. Fix: Prioritize targeting these units immediately upon spawning.
  • Pure Brute Force: Trying to out-click armor without piercing. Fix: Invest in armor-piercing rating and Dragon Piercers to chunk monster HP.
  • Manual Grinding: Manually buying every upgrade in the mid-game. Fix: Use the Foreman contract to automate your upgrade timers.

Why This Game Is Different

  • Tactical Squad Management: Unlike basic clickers, you manage a roster of 7 Eater types (like Doom Bloom and Titan Brute) with specific roles and priority settings.
  • Dual-Layer Prestige: Features two distinct reset cycles—Beer (Drink with the Gods) and Spaghetti (Eat with the Gods)—each with unique reward trees.
  • Timed Combat Mechanics: Combines idle elements with a rhythmic, timed-swing loop that rewards precision over mindless clicking.

Pro Tips & Strategies

  • Synergize Your Eaters: Use a War Drummer to wake sleepers and revive Doom Bloom bombers to maximize AoE output.
  • Soul Cycling: Don't just hoard Souls; pour them back into a tier's upgrade card to turn that specific rung of the ladder into a resource engine.
  • Wand Ascension: Regularly check the Wand Shop to climb through the seven tiers of staves for significant damage curve jumps.
